Two defendants in Carl DeBrodie wrongful death lawsuit deny majority of allegations

Rachael Rowden and Second Chance Homes of Fulton, LLC responded to an amended petition Tuesday in the wrongful death lawsuit filed in the case of Carl DeBrodie.

According to court documents, Rowden and Second Chance denied a majority of the allegations.

However, the documents said both defendants admitted to the following:

Second Chance Homes of Fulton, LLC is a limited liability company formed under the laws of the State of Missouri Rowden is a resident of Callaway County. Missouri Rowden is the owner of Second Chance Homes of Fulton, LLC Second Chance Homes of Fulton, LLC provides services for individuals with disabilities Second Chance Homes of Fulton, LLC receives money for the services provided The last time Defendant Rowden had face-to-face contact with DeBrodie was July 2016

Both Rowden and Second Chance Homes repeated the defense that DeBrodie’s or his family’s negligence caused his injuries.
