Boone County Sheriff’s Office investigates suspicious death
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into a woman’s death Friday.
The department said in a press release that the woman was found dead at a home in the 6100 block of Hatton Chapel Road west of Route E on Friday.
Deputies responded to the home after 8 a.m. while following up on an earlier investigation involving the theft of a large number of guns.
An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow. According to authorities, the death has been ruled suspicious.
