Police ask for public’s help in identifying suspect connected to Merchants and Farmers Bank robbery

The Columbia Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying the suspect from the robbery at Merchants and Farmers Bank on June 8.

According to the press release, the suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s or 30’s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 0 inches tall.

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt with a hood, blue jeans, black shoes, a blue hat, black sunglasses and blue gloves. He was last seen at the scene of the robbery.

The suspect fled in a small silver or white car.
