UPDATE: Moberly police find missing woman, possible suspect

UPDATE 11:41 A.M.: According to a press release, Lisa Ross has been located safe in Monroe County by officers of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

ORIGINAL STORY: Law enforcement issued an Endangered Person Advisory Monday for an incident that happened in Moberly Sunday.

Lisa Ross, 42, was last seen in a Gold Chrysler passenger car with unknown license plates in the 500 block of South 5th Street, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Ross is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 135 pounds and has blond hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo of cherries on her lower back. She was last seen wearing a white tank top with light blue tie dye, pearl earrings, white shorts and brown leather sandals.

Authorities are also looking for Stephen J. Thorp, 55, who police say is a possible suspect. Ross has a protection order against Thorp, according to the highway patrol.

Thorp is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and is bald with brown eyes.

He is currently on probation for second degree murder and armed criminal action.

Anyone with information about the possible whereabouts of Ross or Thorp is asked to call 911 or Moberly police at (660)263-0346.
