Three injured in overnight boat crash at Lake of the Ozarks, troopers say

Three people were sent to the hospital after their boat crashed early Saturday morning, according to online Missouri State Highway Patrol records.

The boating incident report said that the crash happened near the 22.5 mile marker of the Main Channel at the Lake of the Ozarks around 12:30 a.m.

The report said the driver, Sergay Vaysfligel, 61, of Kansas was heading upstream when his boat hit a cliff.

Vaysfligel and the other two occupants were taken to a local hospital, with two of them suffering minor injuries, the report said.

The report said the boat was totaled.
