SUSPECT FOUND: Camdenton man wanted for holding victim at gun point arrested

UPDATE – 6/7 – 8:14 A.M.: The Camden County Sheriff’s Office said deputies located Pad R. Webster Wednesday.

The man, who was wanted for kidnapping and stealing a car, was arrested without incident and is facing multiple possible felony charges.

The victim’s pit bull was also located and returned to its owner Wednesday night.

ORIGINAL: The Camden County Sheriff’s department is looking for a suspect who allegedly pulled a gun on a county resident and stole their car. The victim said Pad R. Webster forced them and their dog into the car. But while the car was stopped, the victim was able to get away.

Deputies later found the vehicle and Webster on Mt. Horeb Road and chased him on foot. However, he was able to get away. He’s wanted in relation to this incident as well as other outstanding warrants.

Wester is described as a 41-year-old white man, about six feet tall and was last seen wearing blue jeans.

The victim’s dog, a pit bull mix named Kilo, is also still missing. He was last seen on Spencer Creek Road dragging a leash.

Police said Webster should be considered armed, and residents should not approach him.
