Drug trafficking suspect arrested in Osage County

A 33-year-old Jefferson City man is in jail and facing possible charges after a drug bust in Osage County.

The Mid-Missouri drug Task Force, the Osage County Sheriff’s department and the Miller County SWAT team worked with each other to serve a search warrant at 415 County Road 501.

“During course of the investigation a significant amount of suspected Methamphetamine, Marijuana and over $9000 cash was seized,” said Sheriff Mike Bonham.

Deputies arrested Mitchell James Krieg on suspicion of 2nd-degree drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.

Krieg is being held without bond.
