Judge sentences accused child molester to prison for child pornography
A federal judge sentenced a Camdenton man who allegedly molested a 10-year-old child to 15 years in prison without parole for receiving child pornography over the internet.
Duffy Dean Woodman, 52, pleaded guilty in October 2017.
The investigation started in 2015 after the Laclede County Sheriff’s Department took a report that a child had been molested at Woodman’s home and at a home in Laclede County.
Authorities searched Woodman’s home on Nov. 9, 2015, and seized several electronic devices. One of the tablets seized had more than 350 images of child pornography and a laptop showed numerous searches consistent with child pornography activity. Investigators also found additional images of child erotica and a dozen images of bestiality in an “unallocated space,” according to a release from the Office of the United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri.
Woodman was also sentenced to a 10-year term of supervised release following incarceration.
Woodman is currently charged in Morgan County with allegedly molesting a 10-year-old victim and awaits sentencing.
