Jefferson City man accused of stealing jewelry, firearm
A Jefferson City man is officially charged after he’s accused of stealing a firearm and jewelry from a home in Fulton.
Lamont Edward Dyer is charged with burglary, two counts of stealing, unlawful possession of a firearm and property damage.
According to court documents, Dyer is accused of breaking into a home in the 4800 block of County Road 202 where he got away with jewelry and a firearm on February 14, 2018.
Callaway County Prosecutor Chris Wilson said Dyer is a convicted felon from a prior stalking case, so he shouldn’t have had a firearm on him.
Dyer is set to be arraigned in court on June 4.
