Missouri lawmakers scheduled to meet day after Gov. Eric Greitens announces resignation
A day after Gov. Eric Greitens announced his resignation, effective Friday at 5 p.m., lawmakers are scheduled to return to the state Capitol.
According to the house website, lawmakers are coming back at 1 p.m. for “bill singing.” When the regular legislative session ended, lawmakers truly agreed and passed 149 bills.
ABC 17 News is told that Missouri Republicans will be caucusing Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m.
The governor resigned Tuesday afternoon after months of scandal and criminal charges.
