Motorcyclist hurt in Montgomery County crash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A crash in Montgomery County injured a Springfield motorcyclist late Saturday afternoon.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post that the wreck happened on Highway 19 near Hugo Road around 4:10 p.m.

Deputies said EMS crews took the motorcyclist to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating, according to the sheriff's office.

Investigators have not said what caused the crash. Authorities have not identified the people involved.
