Wanted man tasered, arrested after jumping out window

A 44-year-old Fulton man is in the Callaway County Jail after officers arrested him on an active warrant.

Police found Brent Gibson at a home in the 1400 block of Ewing Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

“During this investigation, Gibson jumped out of a window and attempted to flee officers on foot,” the Police Department said. “During the foot pursuit, an officer deployed his taser, and was able to stop Gibson.”

Officers said Gibson resisted arrest as he was being taken into custody.

Gibson is now held with a combined bond amount of $21,500.
