UPDATE: Two people found dead in home on West Texas Ave. identified
UPDATE 5:57 P.M.: Police have released more details about the death investigation on Texas Ave.
Officers were called to the 700 block of Texas Avenue for a cardiac arrest, according to CPD.
When officers got to the scene, they found Tia Ford, 36, and Marvin Clay, 61, both dead inside the home.
A search warrant was served at the home, where members of the Forensic Evidence Team (FET) completed a search and examination.
Ford and Clay were transported to the Boone County Medical Examiner’s Office where autopsies will be performed.
UPDATE 3:25 P.M.: Columbia police have confirmed that a man and woman were found dead inside of the home on Texas Ave.
