Committee investigating governor cancels meeting after members delayed by I-70 crash

UPDATE: Monday’s meeting was canceled due to a crash on I-70 that delayed some committee members.

ORIGINAL: The special investigative committee looking into Governor Greitens is scheduled to meet three times during the last week of the legislative session.

The Special Investigative Committee on Oversight is expected to meet at 12 p.m. Monday at the State Capitol.

Meetings are also scheduled for Tuesday at 8 a.m. and Wednesday at 8 a.m.

The committee was formed in late February and released its first report in April regarding the governor’s invasion of privacy charge. A second report focused on the governor’s alleged misappropriation and use of a charitable donor list was released in early May.

ABC 17 News has crews at the State Capitol and will update this story with any developments from Monday’s meeting.
