Suspicious package reported in Moberly, deemed not a threat
ABC 17 News has confirmed the FBI, ATF, Highway Patrol, police and postal inspectors responded after an apparent suspicious package was reported at the Moberly post office on Friday.
A minor found the package in the lobby just after 4 p.m. and put it on the counter. Because it appeared suspicious, bomb units were called, who eventually X-rayed and doused it with water before verifying it was not a threat.
No one was hurt.
