At least one injured in early morning crash on I-70

Columbia police confirmed at least one person was transported to a hospital after a Thursday morning crash on I-70.

Police and fire crews responded to I-70 westbound near the Providence exit before 12:30 a.m. One lane of the interstate was blocked off for about 30 minutes while crews cleaned up debris from the scene. A motorcycle was also involved in the crash.

Officials on scene did not confirm the condition of the injured person.
