Trash truck fire extinguished by Columbia Fire crews

According to tweets by the Columbia Fire Department, firefighters have extinguished a fire that started in a privately owned trash truck’s load.

The fire happened on the 1800 block of Commerce Court.

The trash was dumped to prevent the fire from spreading to the vehicle.
