Latest on severe chances Wednesday

ABC 17 is tracking another severe storm risk headed into Wednesday. We could begin seeing strong storms as early as Wednesday morning as a strong storm system pushes into the area, follow by storms later in the evening.

WEDNESDAY

Our latest risk zone contains most of eastern Mid-Missouri and we’ll have to keep an eye on that risk potentially shifting toward the west.

As of right now the highest risk looks to be maintained by a warm front in the morning where we could see large hail, followed by some dry time around noon, followed by a cold front passage which could bring a threat of strong winds and large hail by the evening hours. Depending on how much sun we get in the early afternoon hours will dictate how strong the evening storms will end up being.
