Week starts out great, potential for more severe storms Wednesday

TONIGHT: Scattered showers and storms will continue to slide southward across much of eastern Mid-Missouri through 9pm. Most of that activity will begin to diminish as we continue to lose daytime heating. No more severe weather is going to occur overnight. Lows will be cool behind this front, we drop to 50 degrees by sunrise.

MONDAY: The day will start out on the cool side, but as the sun begins to rise we warm quickly. Maybe a light coat will be needed out the door, but you won’t need it for the rest of the day. We stay dry with ample sunshine throughout the day as temperatures will make their way to the mid-70s by 4pm.

EXTENDED: Tuesday looks to be another wonderful day, but clouds will be on the increase by the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to the mid & upper 70s across the area. Our next chance of rainfall begins early Wednesday morning and will last through most of the day and into the evening. Some storms on Wednesday could be severe so be sure to stay tuned to ABC 17 News for the latest weather forecast and impacts through the week.
