Beautiful and sunny start to the weekend

TODAY: It will be a gorgeous afternoon across Mid-Missouri, as highs climb into the mid 70s. Sunny skies will remain for areas north of I-70, with increasing clouds cover to the south. Even with the clouds in place, temperatures will have no trouble clmbinb into the mid 70s. Thankfully a northwesterly breeze up to 12 mph will keep the humidity down .

TONIGHT: It’ll be a clear night across the region, wiht lows bottom out in the mid 50s. Winds will be out of the west up to 6 mph.

EXTENDED: As we head into the weekend, we look warm and dry for Saturday with temperatures reaching into the low 80s and winds from the west to southwest up to 10 mph. A cold front brings a chance of showers and t-storms Sunday afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80. These move out Sunday evening and we’ll start the work week dry and mild with highs in the 70s and nights in the 50s. More rain holds off until the middle of next week.
