Fire scorches vehicle on Hwy 63
UPDATE 8:00 A.M.: Fire officials told ABC 17 News a woman was in an SUV traveling northbound on Hwy 63 Tuesday morning when she noticed an odor emitting from the vehicle.
When she pulled over to the side of the road, the driver told fire crews the vehicle went up in flames.
No one was injured in the blaze and it’s unclear why it started.
ORIGINAL: Columbia fire crews responded to the northbound lanes of Hwy 63 just south of Prathersville Road Tuesday morning for a reported vehicle fire.
It happened around 7 a.m. and destroyed an SUV.
ABC 17 News has a crews at the scene of the fire working to get more information about what may have caused the blaze and if there were any injuries.
