Deputy sheriff for Maries County arrested for felony sexual contact with inmate

A deputy sheriff for Maries County was arrested over the weekend for felony sexual contact with an inmate, according to the Maries County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.

According to the Facebook post, Kacee Woodruff was working as a jailer/dispatcher for the Sheriff’s Office. She has an arraignment on May 1, 2018.

“Woodruff was immediately terminated from her position with the Sheriff’s Office. Woodruff had only worked for the Sheriff’s Office since February 27, 2018.” said the post.
