House hit by gunfire in central Columbia after Sunday morning shooting

UPDATE 2:34 p.m. : There is a bullet hole in the front window of the house on 1109 Eastland Circle. According to dispatch, this is the address of the house where shots were fired early Sunday morning.

Neighbors tell ABC 17 they were too scared to speak on camera, but they say the house is “trouble.” They say there are random cars in and out of the driveway, with several random people. They believe the house is involved in drugs.

Another neighbor tells us there are more than one bullet hole, he says there are four others he’s seen.

ORIGINAL : Columbia police are investigating a shooting that happened in the 1100 block of Eastland Circle on Sunday morning at 4:03 a.m.

Police said when they arrived on scene, they saw a house had been struck by gunfire. There were five occupants inside of the residence at the time of the shooting.

Officers said there were no reported injuries and the investigation is on-going.

The amount of property damage is unknown.
