Sentencing hearing scheduled fatal hit and run for June 16 in Cole County

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A woman convicted of leaving the scene of a deadly 2019 crash in Cole County will soon learn her sentence.

A judge scheduled a sentencing hearing for Haily Crabtree for June 16.

Crabtree was found guilty of leaving the scene after she hit and killed Eric Krauter on Highway 50.

She was acquitted of manslaughter charges.

Crabtree told police she drove away because she was scared of what would happen after the crash.
