Moniteau County deputies arrest man after officers find cocaine, marijuana

Moniteau County deputies arrested Daniel Contreras, 28, on Wednesday after officers responded to a residence in Clarksburg for reports of possible drug activity.

When officers made contact with Contreras, they saw marijuana. Deputies asked Contreras if they could search through the house, but he refused.

Officers were granted a search warrant and went inside of the house. They found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cocaine.

Contreras faces possible charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $25,000.

Officers said Contreras also had a non-support of a child warrant for his arrest with another bond of $8,000.
