Fulton man pleads guilty to having sex with 15-year-old and giving her alcohol

A Fulton man pleaded guilty to charges of statutory rape, supplying liquor to a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia on Monday.

Jonathan Ballard, 24, admitted that he had sex with a 15-year-old at his apartment in June 2016 after giving her alcohol.

Officers executed a search warrant on Ballard’s apartment and found drug paraphernalia. Ballard later admitted that it was his.

A judge sentenced Ballard to five years in prison and recommended that he complete a shock incarceration program before being released. The judge also sentenced Ballard to 90 days in jail for supplying liquor to a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.
