Columbia police find numerous shell casings on Paris Road
UPDATE 3:00 p.m.: Officers received additional information that a vehicle had been struck by the gunfire, which was located at Noble Court and Worley Street.
The amount of damage is unknown at this time.
There are no injuries reported and the investigation is on-going.
ORIGINAL: Columbia police responded to Paris Road early Monday morning for multiple reports of shots fired.
It happened around 1:00 a.m. in the 1500 block of Paris Road.
Officers found 20 shell casings on scene as well as some property damage to one vehicle in the area, according to police.
No one was hurt.
