Callaway County deputies arrest man accused of biting officers finger, running someone off the road

Callaway County deputies arrested Keith Lancaster on Thursday after officers responded to a reported physical domestic disturbance and vehicle crash in the 5900 block of State Road E.

Officers determined that Lancaster used his car to force another vehicle off the road. He was then accused of stopping and fleeing on foot.

Deputies said when they found Lancaster, he was uncooperative. Officers were able to get a search warrant for Lancaster’s blood and transported him to a local hospital.

At the hospital, Lancaster became increasingly uncooperative and resisted the nurses and assaulted several officers by kicking them. He was also accused of biting the finger of an officer.

Lancaster was charged with domestic assault, property damage, leave the scene of an accident, driving while revoked, possession of marijuana interference with legal process and assault. His bond has been set at $40,000.
