Ugly End To Our Weekend

TODAY: We’re going to be in for a raw, blustery day in Mid-Missouri. We’re still tracking a chance of a rain and snow mix, but still not expecting much accumulations. Temperatures are going to struggle to get to 40 degrees across the region, and brisk northwest winds are going to make it feel like the middle to upper 20s for much of the day. Could see those winds at times gusting up to 30 mph this afternoon, so you’ll need that coat all day.

TONIGHT : We could be seeing some flurries still hanging around into the evening, as this low pressure system slowly begins to exit the viewing area. Those brisk northwest winds will keep up tonight as we bottom out in the upper 20s, setting us up for a cold start to our Monday.

EXTENDED : A tranquil weather pattern begins on Monday. We’ll be seeing plenty of sunshine throughout the week ahead, even if temperatures are slightly below normal. Tuesday looks to be the warmest day this week, with highs in the upper 60s to near 70, before a dry cold front moves through Mid-Missouri. This front will knock us back about 10 degrees for our Wednesday, but much of the moisture with the system will stay to our north. We’ll hover around the upper 50s to low 60s for the rest of the week before another disturbance affects Mid-Missouri next weekend. Stay tuned to ABC 17 for the latest forecast and updates.
