Man charged with strangling woman, threatening to kill her

A man has been charged with second degree domestic assault after an incident at the Ecolodge in Osage Beach.

A woman told police that Donald Miller was arguing with her when the altercation became physical. Miller allegedly wrapped his arm around her throat and began to strangle her.

The woman said that she bit Miller several times but he punched her in the head with a closed fist, causing a cut to her forehead.

Police said two children were in the hotel room at the time of the fight and when one tried to stop the altercation, Miller grabbed a little girl by her leg, which caused redness and bruising.

According to the court documents, Miller grabbed the woman by her face and said he was going to kill her in front of the little girl.

Officers said they attempted to contact Miller, but could not reach him. However, public jail records show a Donald Miller is currently in the Camden County Jail.
