Warmer weather returns following coldest start to April since 1899

The first 10 days of April brought well below average temperatures making it feel a whole lot more like winter than spring to kick off the month. We haven’t seen this cold of a start to April since 1899– well over 100 years ago.

Luckily, a much needed weather pattern flip will bring significantly warmer temperatures into the middle of this week. Highs will rise back above average, making it close to 80 by Thursday. However, don’t get too comfortable, as a cold front quickly brings us dropping temperatures through the weekend.
