Cool to start this week, but spring will make a comeback!

THIS AFTERNOON: We will see mostly cloudy conditions through the remained of the afternoon. Temperatures will sit where they are currently at, in the low to mid 40s and then begin to drop in the early evening. Any evening dinner plans will likely require a jacket, but no precipitation is expected.

TONIGHT: As the cold front pushes south this evening we are going to see clearing skies tonight. With less clouds by morning and northerly winds from 3-6, mph temperatures will fall back below freezing, feeling like the mid 20s.

EXTENDED : Drier weather moves in on Tuesday as more Spring-like weather heads toward Mid-Missouri with warmer temperatures and more sunshine. Highs Tuesday will still be limited in the low 50s as northerly flow hangs on, but we will see mostly sunny skies. Headed into Wednesday, a stout southwest wind will press into the region raising temperatures into the 70s, and even into the middle and upper 70s on Thursday. We could even see a few spots closing in on 80 degrees on Thursday. Another cold front approaches on Friday increasing clouds and bringing a chance for rain & storms as well as a cool down for the weekend. Stay tuned to ABC 17 for the latest forecast and updates.
