Columbia police serve drug search warrant in central Columbia

Columbia police served a drug search warrant in the 2500 block of Willowbrook Road on Thursday afternoon.

Officers were first alerted about a residence in the area when neighbors complained about frequent traffic coming in and out of the neighborhood.

Police said three people were detained and officers are just beginning their search.

Witnesses saw a SWAT car and a K-9 unit on scene.

ABC 17 crews are on scene and will continue to monitor the situation.
