Columbia police arrest man after brief foot chase

Columbia police arrested Nickolas Kline on Wednesday night after officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 200 block of Third Avenue.

Officers said Kline, the driver, began to flee the area on foot but was eventually taken into custody.

Kline faces possible charges for resisting arrest and operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a valid license.
