Section of Route 5 closed due to broken sewer main

MODOT officials announced on Wednesday that Missouri Route 5 in Fayette is closed because of a broken sewer main.

Route 5 is closed at Morrison Street until at least Friday afternoon while repairs are made.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area and to find an alternate route around the affected area.
