UPDATE 9:40 pm: The Boone County final election results show that Teresa Maledy and Susan Blackburn won the two school board seats.
The $30 million CPS bond issue also passed with 83% of the vote.
UPDATE 8:38 pm: Macon County final results show that James “Talt” Holman won the Macon Mayor position.
UPDATE 8:35 pm: Maries County final results show that Josh Seaver has won the City of Belle mayor position.

UPDATE 8 pm: The Monroe County final results show that Robert Dowell won the Monroe City Mayor position with 41.73% of the votes.
The Monroe County election summary also showed Chris Popkes won the Paris mayor position.
ORIGINAL STORY: The polls have closed in Mid-Missouri and some absentee ballots are in.
The Boone County absentee ballots show there is a close race for the CPS Board of Education.

The absentee ballot also shows that Michael Trapp is leading for the Second Ward City Council seat.
Boone County officials said the county’s turnout was 15.4% of registered voters.

Monroe County absentee ballots show that Aaron Eckman is in the lead for the Paris R-II School Board, Russell Dutton is in the lead for the Centralia R-VI School Board 3-year-term and Erle Bennett is in the lead for Centralia R-VI 2-year-term.
