Narcotics and weapons found in a traffic stop on Business Loop 70 near Old Highway 63

Last night, March 30th, at around 9:45 p.m., a two passenger vehicle was pulled over on Business Loop 70 near Old Highway 63 for an equipment violation by a Deputy with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.

The deputy searched the car and found several grams of methamphetamine, heroin, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, and marijuana. Numerous prescription pills were also found, including Xanax, Amphetamine, Oxycodone, and Hydrocodone. Additionally, a loaded gun was also in possession.

The male, 27-year-old Shannon Glasgow of Columbia, was arrested for the following offenses:

Possession of controlled substance – Felony Delivery of a controlled substance Unlawful possession of a firearm Unlawful use of a weapon

Glasgow is a convicted felon in Missouri and cannot lawfully possess any firearm.
