Praire Hill man charged with possessing child pornography

A 19-year-old man was charged Friday with one count of possessing child pornography and one count of furnishing porn to a minor.

Steven Greer was arrested Thursday at his home on Academy Road after an investigation conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensics Investigative Unit.

Investigators with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Chariton County Sheriff’s Office and Salisbury Police Department collected electronic equipment at Greer’s home as evidence.

Greer is being held in the Chariton County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
