WEB EXTRA: Driver stopped by MSHP troopers in Jefferson City for license checkpoint

A driver told ABC 17 he was stopped Friday by troopers for a license checkpoint at Westview and Bagnall Drive in Jefferson City.

He heard it’s something they do routinely every year.

ABC 17 contacted Troop F, who says it’s an “enforcement checkpoint.” They tell us it’s legal because it’s based on a neutral plan that doesn’t target specific individuals.
