Columbia police arrest man accused of selling marijuana on social media

Columbia police arrested Elijah Fox-Brown on Thursday after officers were alerted that he was selling marijuana.

According to the probable cause statement, Brown posted on social media that he was selling marijuana.

Officers contacted Brown about buying the marijuana and they arranged a meeting.

Police said they were aware that Brown had a felony parole violation warrant for shooting into a motor vehicle/ dwelling.

Police said they met Brown at the intersection of Vandiver and Rangeline and arrested him for the warrant. Officers said they could smell marijuana coming form the car and it was found in Brown’s pocket.

Brown was charged with delivery of marijuana.
