Woman charged with stealing items from rental home

A woman has been charged with property damage and stealing after being accused of destroying a rental trailer.

The landlord told Pulaski County deputies that he had a recently served an eviction notice to Sandra Crossland.

On March 22, the landlord talked with Crossland and believed she was going to be picking up some of her personal items. The next day, he noticed the front door had been forced open.

Police said some items that were removed from the trailer were a part of the rental agreement and were supposed to stay in the residence.

Officers said there was also graffiti and damages to the walls of the trailer and it was generally trashed. The clean-up estimation was $3,000.

Crossland was also accused of stealing a refrigerator, an entertainment center, a window A/C unit, a washer and dryer, a bedroom set and two electric heaters. The total value of the missing items was $2,950.

Crossland is currently in the Pulaski County Jail with a bond of $20,000.
