Sunshine Friday, clouds and rain chances this weekend
TONIGHT: Clouds stick around tonight as temperatures drop to near freezing. Northerly winds up to 8 mph will make it feel more like 26 degrees as you step out the door Friday morning.
FRIDAY: Morning clouds will gradually clear and we’ll finally see some afternoon sunshine which will warm us into the mid 50s. Winds will stay under 10 mph, shifting to the southwest by evening.
EXTENDED: Clouds increase Friday night with a chance of showers after 2 AM through mid-morning Saturday as a cold front moves through. Winds wil come in from the southwest early in the day Saturday, shifting to the northwest under mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will reach the mid to upper 50s before the colder air moves in. It will feel more like winter Easter Sunday morning with temperatures starting off in the mid to upper 20s with cloudy skies. It stays cold Sunday, only reaching into the upper 30s to low 40s.Precipitation looks slim Sunday, as drier air looks to win out early in the day. However, a small band of snow/rain looks more likely south of I-70 Sunday afternoon into the evening, but even this chance is limited. No snow accumulation is expected at this time. Another storm system approaches Monday and we’ll warm up ahead of it, reaching near 50 with a chance of showers. Rain becomes more likely Tuesday as another cold front moves through.
