Tracking strong to severe Tuesday afternoon storms

Tonight: Winds continue to remain gusty out of the south at 10-15 mph. Temperatures remain on the warmer side for the overnight low bottoming out just above 70 degrees with partly cloudy skies.

Tomorrow: The morning hours begin warm and partly cloudy with temperatures quickly warming back to the 80's by noon. After 3 PM, storms begin to develop just to northwest of Central Missouri. These risk will die out by 2 AM Wednesday as the storms lose energy and push east.

Extended: Showers and storms will remain in Central Missouri throughout the duration of Wednesday before finally pushing east by Thursday morning out of Central Missouri. Temperatures drop back to the mid-70's throughout the week until winds pull back out of the south with clearer conditions on Friday and Saturday leading to near average high temperatures.
