Mid-Missouri Business Week: Small Business Economy
A new initiative for Missouri’s small business community and farmers was launched Thursday.
Missouri State Treasurer Eric Schmitt joined business and finance leaders in St. Louis to launch Missouri First, standing for financing investment in rural, small business and technology communities.
The program would provide low-interest loans to small businesses and agriculture operations.
Greg Tucker with Small Business and Technology Development said this new initiative is a step in the right direction for Missouri.
