Camden County deputies find 2.5 pounds of methamphetamine in traffic stop

Camden County deputies found 2.5 of methamphetamine on a traffic stop in Camden County.

Officers said the suspect was headed to Benton County, where he lives.

Deputies were granted a search warrant for the suspect’s residence and found more methamphetamine and illegal weapons.

A spokesperson for the Benton County Sheriff’s Department said the suspect was a huge supplier in Camden County and Benton County and is responsible for many thefts on both sides of the line.

Officers said the name of the suspect is being withheld as the investigation continues.
