Seasonal temperatures & rain chances

TONIGHT: Low temperatures drop back into the mid 30s with clouds gradually building. Winds will shift to the southeast and will be nearly calm by morning.

THURSDAY: We won’t see much sunshine as another wave of low pressure moves through, producing light showers with the best chance in northeastern Missouri. A band of light rain will move in as early as 7 AM north of I-70 and slide to the southeast through the morning, mainly affecting area along and east of HWY 63. Under a tenth inch of rain is expected with this. High temperatures will reach the mid 50s north of I-70 to near 60 at the Lake of the Ozarks with southeast winds up to 12 mph. There is another chance of showers mainly south of I-70 in the evening hours.

EXTENDED: Friday looks mostly cloudy with increasing rain chances as we head through the afternoon. High temperatures will stay in the mid 50s north to lower 60s in the Ozarks. Showers and isolated t-storms will become likely Friday night, tapering off by early Saturday morning as a storm system pushes to our east. Winds will shift to the north by noon Saturday and temperatures will cool into the 40s after reaching the mid to upper 50s early in the day. Most of the day Saturday looks dry as rain pushes off to the east in the morning but clouds will be persistent. Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the 50s. Another chance of rain moves in Sunday night with periods of rain from Monday through Tuesday and seasonal temperatures.
