According to EWG, a nonprofit group that analyzes public water systems nationwide, drinking water for more than 170 million Americans contains radioactive elements that may increase the risk of cancer.

But how does mid-Missouri’s water compare?

ABC 17’s Deborah Kendrick digs through drinking water quality data to find out what you’re drinking and asks leaders in local districts what they are doing to keep your drinking water safe.
