Midway employee charged with stealing thousands from customer accounts

A man has been charged with stealing $750 or more after he was accused of taking money from customer accounts.

Boone County deputies said they were dispatched to the 6000 block of West Van Horn Tavern Road regarding a theft by an employee.

The manager at Midway USA claimed Leonardo Sanchez-Miranda had been stealing money from customer accounts in upwards of $11,000 and making purchases through their online store.

According to the probable cause statement, Miranda admitted to the stealing.
