Columbia police arrest woman accused of wandering Boone Hospital

Columbia police arrested Elena Hickman on Saturday night after officers were dispatched to Boone Hospital Center in reference to a trespassing subject.

Hospital security told police that they found Hickman wandering in parts of the hospital where she was not supposed to be. She was also observed taking several items from behind a staff desk.

Police said when they made contact with Hickman, she was in a room at the hospital and not coherent.

Hickman faces possible charges of burglary, stealing, and trespassing.
