Mizzou WBB makes the NCAA Tournament for third straight year

The Mizzou women’s basketball team has made the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year. The Tigers are the No. 5 seed in the Lexington Region. Mizzou will play No. 12 Florida Gulf Coast in Stanford, Calif. at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

This is the highest Mizzou has ever been seeded in program history. The Tigers are three wins away from breaking the program record for victories in a season.

Mizzou finished the year 24-7 overall and 11-5 in the SEC. The Tigers lost to Georgia in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament back on March 2nd.

MU has won at least one NCAA Tournament game the last two years.
